 
 The Locks of Love Moment Yep, it finally arrived. I knew it was looming--I've known for a long time that when I cut my hair, I would send it to Locks of Love. And finally, seeking a little break from the intensity of care required in this dry, windy climate, the cutting happened at the end of 2005. Here's the before: 
But then came the snipsnipsnip. We measured the original hair at 30 inches and cut off 14 (Locks of Love needs a minimum of 10 inches...go for it!), then trimmed it up another inch or so. So I've still got half of what was there, but it sure seems short! And here's a candid, With Beagle:  And boy did it feel nice putting that bundle of hair in the mail, knowing a child would be making use of it when all is said and done. Not to mention that my hair dries a lot faster now.
