I'm currently working production for the first Ghost Whisperer book, Revenge. Can I even tell you how much fun this is?

Still bearing the gruesome wounds of his death, he appeared to be etched into the very air with the acid of his anger, dark and crisp at the edges, so tightly focused it hurt to look too closely.

"This isn't good for you, Gordon.  It isn't right.  Your death was tragic, but it's up to the police to find the man who did it.  Your job now is to make peace with--"

He cut her off with a sudden roar and circled her in a series of blurs and jerks, ending up close to her face.  "He's mine!"

Suddenly she was pressed from all sides--the impossible weight of anger, squeezing her, crushing her chest and bowing her neck and making her heart struggle to beat at all.  She couldn't cry out or call for help and she couldn't do anything more than soundlessly mouth his name as she crumpled to the ground. "Gordon...Gordon, no--"
