Connery Beagle
Mid-June '04, Growing Fast! Wow, Connery's been here for three weeks. Definitely time for more pictures. His widow's peak is fading as expected and he's starting to fit into the family pack--Belle plays with him when she thinks I'm not looking. Some of these pics suffer from being taken just before the sun set; it gets pretty intense up here at that time of day. And I was adjusting to a different camera, so...oh well!

Belle will wave on request. Now to get myself to take a well-timed picture of it on request... (You can't tell from these pictures, but sometimes Jean-Luc does actually move. The heavily modified robo-muzzle he wears is necessary because of his early brain injury and the resulting obsessive-compulsive gravel eating. You might note that the yard is mostly cinder gravel...)

Moving inside...this puppy is obviously far too tense when crated. 
What's a puppy to do when itches strike during play? Both things at once, of course. 
And here's the first attempt at a show stack photo. We still have a long way to go! Doesn't he look like a little fullback? That cowlicky bit right over his shoulders counts as shoulder pads... (I should probably mention that he's just eaten. As it if isn't obvious!) 
The Toy Basket game...knocking over the toy basket to get his toys is one of his confidence-building games. He's just knocked over the basket and is now playing coy about tugging the grey fuzzy thing (one of his favorites).
