Hello, ReaderFolk!

And it's our second go with the new! improved! newsletter--I hope you're liking it. 8) As with the last time, clicking through to the browser link will get the "this is what it should look like" version, although some of you will see something close in your email. I'm doing my best to keep it reader-friendly for everyone, and I hope you'll let me know if you have problems.

Connery and Belle have been to another agility trial, the last of the season. Belle is closing in on her PAX title, the highest AKC honor she can achieve while running her short-legged dog height. ConneryBeagle still struggles to regain his confidence after last fall's attack, but we're seeing progress. Hooray, Beagle!

The big news of the month? HIDDEN STEEL is about to hit the shelves! July 18 is its official release date and I'm gearing up for it, so there's even a new excerpt on my website. I hope you'll check it out!

In the meantime, the two Nocturne books, SENTINEL and DARK SENTINEL, have release dates of May and August '09, while I'll be kicking them off with a still untitled online story for the Nocturne Bites program.

DUN LADY'S JESS--already available via Amazon.ca--is now out and about in the States as well! And Dale & Sully return for SCENT OF DANGER waiting at the end of the year, but in the meantime, GHOST WHISPERER: REVENGE will be out in September. Yup, last year was quiet, but I'm making up for it this year!

In the office, I'm heading for the home stretch in the second Ghost Whisperer book. And then I get to write the first of the two Reckoners books for Tor! And of course, the writing comes before all else, so even though I'm just plain chronically behind after the way the year started, I hope you'll be patient with all the other details.  8) Meanwhile, I've begun blogging sporadically again with my blog sisters at Writers Plot--I hope you'll stop by to see what I've been up to!
