    I do like that tag line.

    What planet were these bookstores on, if they were that friendly to one of their authors I can’t imagine what kind of customers they had.

    Maybe the same mentality as the 7-11 store that sent all those that worked at a store to take a lie detector test when ever their inventory was off(on the negative side, never to my knowledge when it showed over).

    There are days when my tag line could be, “I do to know nothing.”

    And once again you have set the muse going. To wit, that feeling of otherness, strangeness, when you step into a familiar room and know that you are in a place far away no matter that it still looks as it always did.

    Regarding the picture, I think I like pictures of snow better than being where I can take pictures of snow.

    Yes, but are you a Romance product or a Fantasy product.

    Went to my local B&N today, after checking online to make sure Reckoners was in stock. Online said it was! Yeah!

    So… I get there. Sprint to the SF/Fantasy section. Hmm.. Not in the “new books” area. Well, surely it’ll be in the Alpha-by-Author, right? Nope. ::WAIL:: I could have pre-ordered it online and had it by now. But I wanted my local store to know you had a fan in the area.

    Again with the wail… but before I broke a tooth with all the gnashing, I thought I’d check out the Romance section. You know, just in case. Lo! And Behold! There you were. After breathing a sigh of relief, and clutching one copy to what passes as my bosom, I hand carried the other copy to the “new SF/F” section and made a lovely little space between “Drake” and “Eddings”

    Yes, they’ll find it and re-shelve it, I suppose, but it should be in the place where people who like paranormal romances will look for it, in my not-very-humble-at-all opinion. The place where Laurel K. Hamilton and Sherrilyn Kenyon and Patricia Briggs live. So, I put you there, at least for now.

    Oh, but you found a nice one! I should be smart and do the same. I peeked at some of the presets, didn’t see anything as quietly elegant as that. Probably just got impatient…

    I find the Winchester house fascinating. It was included in a fantasy book i read years ago and keeps popping into my mind. Then hubby was on a business trip to San Jose at Halloween a few years back and did the midnight flashlight tour. oh too cool. I wanna go!

    I liked the old them I had, but my tag line didn’t show up. The red theme is a nice replacement. XD

    It’s hard to find one that’s simple enough to not detract from the content, but I think it was worth it. :)
