I do like that tag line.

What planet were these bookstores on, if they were that friendly to one of their authors I can’t imagine what kind of customers they had.

Maybe the same mentality as the 7-11 store that sent all those that worked at a store to take a lie detector test when ever their inventory was off(on the negative side, never to my knowledge when it showed over).

There are days when my tag line could be, “I do to know nothing.”

And once again you have set the muse going. To wit, that feeling of otherness, strangeness, when you step into a familiar room and know that you are in a place far away no matter that it still looks as it always did.

Regarding the picture, I think I like pictures of snow better than being where I can take pictures of snow.

    Robert–

Ooh, good, I’m glad you liked that tag line!

What an interesting feeling your words evoke. Have fun with that one!

Yes, but are you a Romance product or a Fantasy product.

Went to my local B&N today, after checking online to make sure Reckoners was in stock. Online said it was! Yeah!

So… I get there. Sprint to the SF/Fantasy section. Hmm.. Not in the “new books” area. Well, surely it’ll be in the Alpha-by-Author, right? Nope. ::WAIL:: I could have pre-ordered it online and had it by now. But I wanted my local store to know you had a fan in the area.

Again with the wail… but before I broke a tooth with all the gnashing, I thought I’d check out the Romance section. You know, just in case. Lo! And Behold! There you were. After breathing a sigh of relief, and clutching one copy to what passes as my bosom, I hand carried the other copy to the “new SF/F” section and made a lovely little space between “Drake” and “Eddings”

Yes, they’ll find it and re-shelve it, I suppose, but it should be in the place where people who like paranormal romances will look for it, in my not-very-humble-at-all opinion. The place where Laurel K. Hamilton and Sherrilyn Kenyon and Patricia Briggs live. So, I put you there, at least for now.

Love the tagline…did anyone ever suggest you consider writing for a living? (Don’t hit me, please…is joke!)

    Loved even more the SnowBelle.

  5. Doranna Says:

    Elizabeth–

    Is joke!

But relieved that the thing is going over okay…

I like the SnowBelle, too! I have more…I hope. The card may have gotten damaged.

At first I thought that all those letters after Cheysuli’s name is a discount code for iTunes :) [just kidding]

…a, yeah, we’ll blame that there on muse…

    “Happy Fresh Fiction Valentine’s Day!”

  7. Doranna Says:

    Cherry–

LOL! You have inspired me…I’ll put the meaning of the letters in another post. That’s pretty funny!

    HFFVD!

  8. Crysta Says:

I can’t keep all those letters straight either. :P lol

Doranna…mind if I link to Wordplay from Whispers?

  9. Doranna Says:

    Crysta–

    Gosh, I’d be honored!

I see you got your design act together before going live. I just started blah blah blah posting stuff–who knows when I’ll get my logo done and designed into place!

  10. Crysta Says:

I cheat. I use a preset theme. *blush*

But I did tweak it a little.

I’ll add your link to it. :D

  11. Doranna Says:

Oh, but you found a nice one! I should be smart and do the same. I peeked at some of the presets, didn’t see anything as quietly elegant as that. Probably just got impatient…

  12. Pamela S. Says:

    Love the snow!

    happy Fresh Fiction Valentine’s Day

  13. Doranna Says:

    Pamela, glad you enjoyed it!

    HFFVD!

  14. Donna Says:

I hope your new release day was great one!

    I like the tag line.

I’m looking forward to reading The Reckoners.

    Happy Fresh Fiction Valentine’s Day!

  15. Heather Says:

I find the Winchester house fascinating. It was included in a fantasy book i read years ago and keeps popping into my mind. Then hubby was on a business trip to San Jose at Halloween a few years back and did the midnight flashlight tour. oh too cool. I wanna go!

    “Happy Fresh Fiction Valentine’s Day!”

  16. Crysta Says:

I liked the old them I had, but my tag line didn’t show up. The red theme is a nice replacement. XD

It’s hard to find one that’s simple enough to not detract from the content, but I think it was worth it. :)

  17. Doranna Says:

Donna, thank you for all those kind well-wishes! I hope you enjoy the book!

    HFFVD!

  18. Doranna Says:

Heather–a midnight flashlight tour! Oh, that would be stupendous! I hope you have the chance to see it. 8)
    HFFVD!
