The C/o/b/b/l/e/r/’/s/ Novelist’s Children
By children, of course, I mean the books.
The cobbler’s children goes without shoes; this novelist’s children find that sometimes, they’re the last in line. The lurking books I really, really want to write but don’t quite fit any market niches, and–for the past year or so–I’ve been working on Backlist eBooks rather than producing my own. I’ve got half a dozen backlist fantasy novels waiting for attention…
Well, I’m trying to change that. I’m pondering a Kickstart project…and I’m targeting some time to get the remaining fantasies into my backlist; this time I’m starting with cover art I can use for trade paperbacks, too.
Touched by Magic is currently in the capable hands of my copyeditor, the wonderful Debra Stang. In the meantime, I’m working on the sequel, Wolf Justice; I’ll release them both together, and boy I sure hope that’s within the next couple of months.
But that doesn’t stop me from being gleeful about the cover now! Wheeee!
Magic has never been a part of Reandn’s life. Almost gone from Keland when he was born, there is no trace of it left by the time he enters training with the King’s Wolves, the elite force that patrols the king’s lands.
Magic has never been a part of Reandn’s life. Until the people under his care start dying. Until the threat extends to his family–and then turns on him. Someone, somewhere, is trying to draw magic back into Keland, and they don’t care what–or who–is destroyed in the process.
But Reandn does.

Good luck! I love stories of fantasy that come from the writer’s heart.

Just remember when your muse needs a lift you have a cheering section and a pep squad on call. “rickety rackety ree kick em in the knee, rickety rackety rass, kick em in ———–the other knee.”
